Meanwhile the Celtics appear to have dodged a potential controversy by largely ignoring it. People were wondering if there would be another shoe to drop after Paul Pierce criticized coach Doc Rivers after Sunday's one-point loss to the Cavaliers, who scored the game's last 12 points.
