Dallas Mav's Nowitzki's 17.2 points and six rebounds per game are nowhere near to the stat lines of Love, Aldridge, Griffin or the Utah Jazz's Al Jefferson ; if he is gone to power forward for some odd reason. The 10-time All-Star paced out of his superstar skin and turned a actual person by acknowledging the truth. He was n't self important, egotistic or cocky, but rather true and passionate regarding his strong belief and the NBA game.
Last night was a rugged one Nuggets fans. The Nuggets were sulky in the first half, but they appeared to have a sure sureness that they were n't going to miss the game... that is until Danilo Gallinari went down early in the 3rd quarter to a twisted ankle and a chip crack in his foot.
As Gallo motored the lane (the only Nugget who was bothering to do so) Gallo turned his ankle and, unfortunately, Houston Rockets rookie small forward Chandler Parsons stepped on his foot at the same time. During that second the collective shoulders of both the Nuggets team and Nuggets' fans sagged. It was a deflating moment that came on top of already lacking Nene Hilario (ankle strain), Arron Afflalo (Groin), Timofey Mozgov (ankle) and Corey Brewer (father's funeral). You hate making excuses, but that may have been the straw that split up the camels' back for the Nuggets the other day.
